Phase equilibriums study in the system Mg3(P04)2—Na3P04

Abstract: The system  Mg3(P04)2—Na3P04 was studied by means of DTA, hot-stage microscopy, and X-ray diffraction analysis. The system is of quasi-binary character. There are two ternary compounds in it, Mg4Na(P04)3 and MgNaP04.The former compound melts incongruently (1165°C) and the latter one decomposes probably in the solid state.
