Comparison of the methods used for studying the equilibrium of the lyate ions in water-methanol mixture

Abstract: The methods of calculation of the equilibrium constant corresponding to the equilibrium of the methoxide and hydroxide ions in water—methanol mixture were confronted. On the basis of comparison of the calculated and experimental values of the equilibrium constants, the most appropriate method of calculation was selected.
