A comparison of the preparation of polyester resins without and with the solvent

Abstract: A kinetic study of the synthesis of polyester resins and of fatty-acid-modified alkyd resins without and with solvent is described. The effect of reflux velocity and the type of solvent on the speed of the condensation was studied.
