Suitability of bentonite from eastern Slovakia for the production of bleaching earths

Abstract: Bentonites from eastern Slovakia were subjected to acid activation to evaluate their use for the production of bleaching earths. Only the activated samples from Fintice and Nizny Hrabovec were 85 to 92% as good as the standard product.
