Study of invertase preparations by electrophoresis on paper

Abstract: By electrophoresis on paper and by chromatographic analysis the location of active components of com. or laboratory prepns. of invertase was studied. The major part of active components of both products in a given buffer soln. is elec. neutral. This activity is not bound on ninhydrin-pos. compds. The undesirable low-mol.-wt. compds. can be eliminated by preparative electrophoresis.
