Abstract: The regio-and stereoselectivity of 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of N-benzylidenemethylamine N-oxide, N-(5-nitro-2-furfurylidene)methylamine N-oxide, and 4-nitrobenzonitrile oxide on ethyl 5,6-dideoxy-1,2-O-isopropylidene-alpha-D-xylo-hept-5-enofuranuronate has been investigated.
