Abstract: cf. CA 53, 603h. The compn. of the seeds is: loss in drying 5.43-5.85, oil (petr. ether ext.)28.4-31.1, sugars 1.85-2.29, starch 0.13-31, pentosans 1.66-2.20, fiber 26.9-28.9, total N 2.77-2.93, and ash 2.45-2.88%. The oil is semidrying, of light color, good flavor and odor, and has possibilities in food and tech. fields.
