Abstract: In the present work the application of the Wittig reaction for preparation of furane derivatives of ethene of the type R₁CH = CHR₂ is discussed. R₁ represents here the 5-X-furyl radical (X = I, COOC₂H₅, NO₂) and R₂ is COOCH₃-, the phenyl or the 5-carbethoxyfuryl group.
