 Phase coexistence in the system Mg3(PO4)2—Ca3(PO4)2—Na3PO4

Abstract: The phase coexistence in the subsolidus region of the title system was detd. by x-ray powder diffraction (at 800°). Crystallog. data are given for one ternary (Mg4Na(PO4)3) and one quaternary (Mg7CaNa2(PO4)6). Mg4Na(PO4)3 crystd. in the orthorhombic system with a 9.875(2) × 10-10, b 15.234(4) × 10-10, c 6.346(1) × 10-10 m. Mg7CaNa2(PO4)6 crystd. in the rhombohedral system (a 16.616 × 10-10 m, α 53.43°). Corresponding hexagonal parameters are a 14.938(7) × 10-10 and c 42.61(2) × 10-10 m.
