Abstract: Sonication facilitates the synthesis and accelerates the yields of 4-substituted 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidinyloxyls. This effect is highly pronounced on the substrates with a long lipophilic chain in position 4. The influence of solvent and temperature on the yield of the reaction has been studied. H202 oxidation of the piperidine derivatives promoted by ultrasonic irradiation has been successful also without catalyst.
