Abstract:

This contribution reported two fresh Ag(I)-based compounds, as known as [Ag2(L1)(H2O)]n (1) and [Ag2(L2)(NO3)2]n (2) (H2L1 = 1,4,8,9-tetraazatriphenylene-2,3-dicarboxylic acid, L2 = tris(pyridin-2-yl)-1,3,5-triazine), that were formed in hydrothermal environments and further structurally researched by the aid of powder X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, X-ray single crystal diffraction and thermogravimetric analysis. Under appropriate excitation wavelength, the solid powders of 1 and 2 are luminescent. Their effect on the ovarian cancer combined with acupuncture was investigated and the related principle also was studied in the meantime. The Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) assay was firstly accomplished and the inhibitory effect of the fresh compounds on the cancer cells was appraised. Then, the activity of the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) signaling route in the ovarian cancer cells was evaluated as well.
